"Daddy's Going To Kill You..."

Phoebe kept telling Holden that daddy was going to kill him, and then she got mad at him because he got kick out of school...again. But she wasnt really mad at him, she felt disappointed in him, because she looks up to him. She was worried that daddy really was going to kill Holden, but moslty she felt like he wasnt even trying to fit in with the world, he just kept pushing it away more and more everytime, but each time its the same reason. "It full of phonies". Its time Holden trys to see the world in a different point of view, like Phoebe's. Maybe she will open him up to the world, since it seems that he really cares if she is upset with him or not. Maybe Phoebe is Holdens last chance to change. Will he take it?

  1. This is interesting. Because, I think that Holdens unique point of view on the world but I also think that he would be able to live like everyone else and still keep his point of view. In fact, I thnk if he did this he would be able to share his point of view more easily... Although personally, I like holden the way he is.

  2. Well if the school was really full of phonies and other schools were full of phonies then I probably would want to get out of the school. Also if Phoebe really was mad at Holden and that daddy was going to kill him then why was she even talking to him if she should have been in bed. Then when her parents got home then she should have told him too leave and not ever come back home except in the winter and in the summer.

  3. Nik, you have a very interesting view on it, just because the school was full of phonies that don't mean that he needs to put down his grades and get kick out. Also Phoebe loves Holden she is scared fro him that's all.
